چکیده

Freshwater sponges constitute an overlooked part of the freshwater fauna in Sweden and there has been no recent systematic survey. Hitherto three species have found Sweden: Spongilla lacustris (Linnaeus, 1759), Ephydatia fluviatilis 1759) E. muelleri (Lieberkühn, 1856). Neighbouring countries (Norway, Denmark, Estonia) harbour at least one additional species. We present a study on sponge diversity distribution southern half Sweden. hypothesized dispersal within catchments to be less constrained than between, even shorter intercatchment intracatchment distances, and, as result, genetic distances being greater between catchments. collected identified from 34 sites, using morphological molecular data (coxI, 28S rRNA gene). can report presence Eunapius fragilis (Leidy, 1851) for first time, that S. is most abundant widely distributed Genetic markers were tested individuals phylogeographic study. From 47 primers (24 markers), pair presented successful amplification enough variation studies – i56, intron located conserved gene. Seven different variants sampling area, but clear population structure was observed.

Cellular src gene product detected in the freshwater sponge Spongilla lacustris.

Serum from Rous sarcoma virus tumor-bearing rabbits immunoprecipitated from extracts of the freshwater sponge Spongilla lacustris a tyrosine-specific protein kinase with characteristics similar to the chicken pp60c-src kinase activity. An immune competition assay confirmed the relationship between the protein from sponges and viral pp60v-src.

a frame semantic approach to the study of translating cultural scripts in salingers franny and zooey

the frame semantic theory is a nascent approach in the area of translation studies which goes beyond the linguistic barriers and helps us to incorporate cognitive and cultural factors to the study of translation. based on rojos analytical model (2002b), which centered in the frames or knowledge structures activated in the text, the present research explores the various translation problems that...

Multiple src-related kinase genes, srk1-4, in the fresh water sponge Spongilla lacustris.

In one of the simplest metazoan organisms, the sponge Spongilla lacustris, at least four different src-related kinase genes (srk1-4) are expressed, all of which show a high degree of similarity to the c-src genes of vertebrates. Whereas srk2 and srk3 are clearly unrelated at the nucleic acid level, srk1 and srk4 share identical sequences in the 5' parts of their cDNAs. The cloning of several pr...

a contrastive study of rhetorical functions of citation in iranian and international elt scopus journals
